Average grades of A or B in your master’s degree
The master’s degree must have been completed at the time of application. It is not possible to send references and certificates at a later date.
TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language, with a minimum result of 550 on the Paper-based Test (PBT), or 80 on the Internet-Based Test (iBT).
IELTS – International English Language Testing Service, with the result 6.0

The doctoral program in Finance is targeted towards the pursuit of academic excellence. The Program covers a wide range of subjects including Asset Pricing, Financial Economics, Financial Econometrics, Corporate Finance and Mathematical Finance. Applicants should have a strong interest in research and the desire to pursue an academic career or to continue their career doing research in Finance within the public or private sector. This program will be part of the Swiss Finance Institute PhD program for the Léman area (University of Geneva, University of Lausanne and EPFL). This doctoral program enrolls 10 to 15 students per year.
