UCB的计算机专业开设在电子工程与计算机科学学院内,有三种硕士学位（Master of Engineering，Five Year Master of Science和Master of Science）以及博士学位（Ph.D）。工程学硕士学位，主要面向毕业后希望马上进入工程领域就业的同学，项目设置较为紧凑，算是一个accelerated program，通常全职学习只需要一年即可毕业。Five Year Master of Science (5th. Year Master Program)全称是5年本硕连读项目，只对伯克利本科的学生开放，也是一个accelerated项目，只需一年即可完成。理学硕士学位，主要培养Ph.D候选人，为将来打算读博士的学生做准备；同时也培养进入R&D领域（科研与发展）工作的学生。项目通常需要2年左右毕业。
